APPT Challenger Bangkok
π Marioβs Journey at the APPT Challenger Bangkok β A Weekend to Remember πΉπ
This past weekend, Mario took part in the APPT Challenger event held at Pad Thai Padel in Bangkok β a tournament that brought together talented players from across Asia and beyond. Representing Thailand with pride, Mario teamed up with Mr. Naser ALOBAIDLYΒ from Kuwait, forming a dynamic international duo on the court.
In their opening match, Mario and Naser delivered a strong performance, showing excellent teamwork and energy to secure a confident win and advance to the quarterfinals.
In the quarterfinal, they faced a tough British pair: Ryan and Calvin Wyatt, who ultimately proved to be the stronger team that day. Despite the loss, the match was competitive and filled with high-quality padel that kept the crowd engaged from start to finish.
More than just results, this tournament was a valuable experience for Mario β learning from strong opponents, adapting to a new partnerβs style, and continuing to grow as a player. Events like this are part of the journey, and Mario came back to Phuket more motivated than ever. Above photo with APPT Tournament director, David Maxwell – always a good host and pleasure to meet.
Next stop? Back to training and preparing for the next battle on court.
