TPS Masters Final BKK

TPS Bangkok Master Finals — One Gold, One Lesson

This past weekend I played the TPS Bangkok Master Finals, and it turned into one of those tournaments that really sums up why I love competing.

In the Amateurs Category, I teamed up with Eric and we had an amazing run. Match by match we felt more solid, more confident, and more in control. Everything clicked — communication, positioning, and decision-making. The result was a tournament win and a gold medal, which felt great and was a strong reward for the work we’ve been putting in. Safe to say, this is probably our last stop in amateurs 😄

In the Male Pro category, the challenge was on another level. We lost in the quarterfinals against Conor and Juan in a very tight battle. The margins were small, but this time their experience, consistency, and smart use of lobs made the difference. One break, one tiebreak moment — that’s all it took. Tough loss, but an important one.

Overall, it was a weekend with both celebration and reflection. Wins give confidence, losses give clarity. Back to training, back to improving — and already looking forward to the next challenge.
