🏆 Kicking Off Season 2 at PTP Club – What a Weekend!

This past weekend was the start of Season 2 of the Phuket Padel Series, and I was lucky enough to be part of it at PTP Club Bangtao—an awesome new venue with great energy, cool people, and high-level padel all around.

The format was a tough one: Double Knockout in the Pro categories. That meant no room for slacking—if you wanted to stay in it, you had to fight through every single match, win or lose. It was physically and mentally intense, but also super exciting to be part of.

🎾 Teaming Up with Tim Brown

This time I had the chance to team up with Tim Brown, who’s ranked number 1 in Australia. We had never played together before, but from the start it felt like we had real chemistry on court.

We started strong with a win against José Maria and Egor—a good first match to find our rhythm. In our second match, we ran into two beasts: Beltran Gomez and Asier Gago, who eventually won the whole tournament. They were super solid, and we couldn’t quite get past them.

That loss dropped us into the second bracket, but we didn’t give up. In fact, it pushed us to go even harder.

• We came back with a solid straight-set win over Nikita and Semen, a strong Russian pair.
• Then we faced Iliya and Benjamin—a really intense match that went all the way to a tiebreak. The atmosphere was amazing, and we just managed to close it out!

That win secured us 3rd place and a 5,000 THB prize check. Not bad for our first time teaming up!

Massive thank you to PTP Club Bangtao for hosting and joining the PPS circuit. Everything—from the courts to the crew—was top-notch. It’s such a great feeling to see new clubs supporting padel and bringing the sport to more people.

🔥 Looking Ahead

This event set the bar high for the rest of the season. I’m super motivated and already looking forward to the next stop on the circuit. Every event is a new chance to grow, compete, and connect with amazing players from around the world.
